About me
Our Creative Journey
From a historic farmhouse in the Hudson Valley, Naomi’s Dolls brings stories, fabrics, and inspiration together. Each handcrafted doll reflects a dedication to artistry, heritage, and timeless design.
A Story of Restoration, Creativity, and Craft
Naomi’s Dolls began in a place filled with history — our one-hundred-year-old farmhouse nestled in the scenic Hudson Valley, about sixty minutes north of New York City. Restoring this home sparked a deep appreciation for tradition, craftsmanship, and the beauty of bringing old things back to life.
That same philosophy became the heart of Naomi’s Dolls.
Each doll is thoughtfully designed and handcrafted using carefully selected recycled fabrics, transformed into beautiful historical costumes or meaningful outfits inspired by the stories people share with us. What begins as a simple idea — a memory, a historical inspiration, or a personal vision — becomes a one-of-a-kind heirloom creation.
The Inspiration Behind Every Doll
Every Naomi’s Doll starts with inspiration.
Sometimes it is a piece of fabric with sentimental value. Sometimes it is a love for a particular historical era. Other times, it is simply the desire to create a meaningful gift that will be cherished for generations.
Rather than producing dolls in large quantities, each piece is carefully designed and crafted as an individual work of art. This allows every doll to carry its own story, personality, and attention to detail.
Crafted With Care
From the first design concept to the final stitch, every step of the process is completed with patience and intention.
All Naomi’s Dolls are designed, assembled, and handcrafted right here in the United States. Using reclaimed and recycled textiles gives each creation its own unique character while honoring a tradition of thoughtful craftsmanship.
The goal is simple: to create dolls that feel timeless — the kind of treasure that can be passed down through generations.
